So lawl, 5 hours of tinkering later. (including a lunch break) I have only made minor progress on the guitar hero controller, maybe even took a step back.

This is the Xbox360 X-plorer controller, wired, and the green and blue buttons don't work. I opened her up to take a look, maybe there was a loose solder connection. There wasn't, but I got to work figuring out what exactly was the issue.

The Schematic of the neck circuit board. Tested is what I did while the game was plugged in, in the neck circuit board. The body circuit board, is where I got the "theoretical" ones from, as it worked when I was using a spare piece of wire to flip the switches. (I only have two arms, hence the wire)

So I thought, hay! It's the A-connection that's giving me grief, I'll just clean 'er up and re-solder it. So I did (not before I did the classic, "whoops I soldered it to the wrong peice") and plugged it back in to see if it worked. It didn't. Le sigh.

So I went and check it with the multitester... aside from getting a range of resistances from about 150 to .1 ohms, all the circuits were conducting.

I'm stumped. It just might be busted beyond the repair I'm willing to go. :)

You know, the first time around, I thought that this was a hoax. I also thought that it would never continue till now.

Do you remember projectdownload ? There is a woman named Erin, who requires Brain Surgeries, and cannot because she does not qualify for insurance, or medicare in her state. They're expensive. She elaborates, in the file here. She's recently had a couple of seizures and memory lost, and it's a really unfortunate. So, even if you download the file once, it would probably help her to a degree.

It does seem hoaxy at first, but who would lie about something like that? Furthermore, all that you're giving in a couple seconds of your time (even on 56k!), so you're really not losing something anyways. Unless you want those precious 2KB of memory.

So I'm watching Hellboy: Sword of Storms right now, and there was TOTALLY a guy that looked like an Japanese Edgeworth crossed with Dr. Orpheus. It was spooky. Too bad he didn't act like either. (Although right now, it really feels like Inu Yasha right now in terms of plot. Just with Hellyboy instead of Kagome)

1st week of classes are OVER!! lots more weeks to go.
